Candle Lighting Ceremony 2009

Candle Lighting Ceremony 2009Domestic Violence Service of Central Queensland (DVSOCQ) held a candle lighting ceremony on Wednesday 6 May to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Month.
On dusk, over 100 people gathered at Emerald Botanic Gardens’ bush chapel in tribute to the 76 women who lose their lives at the hands of an intimate partner.
