Bundaberg & District Home Assist
Secure Program
Home Assist Secure receives funding
from the Department of housing and offers
assistance, advice and information on home repairs,
maintenance, minor modifications and security. If
you live in Bundaberg, Burnett, Kolan, Perry, Monto,
Eidsvold and Isis Shires and are aged 60 years or
over, or any age with a disability, living in your
own home or renting privately you may be eligible
for assistance. The main areas of assistance the
program deals with are the issues of health, safety
and security. An impartial security assessment by
trained staff can provide consumer protection in the
sensitive area of home security. You can contact the
Home Assist program on 4153 1099.

needs and may include help with personal care,
meals, shopping, medication supervision, laundry,
domestic assistance and transport.
