It is assumed that your privacy rights will be held paramount unless

in a medical emergency. At all times we will aim to balance the
rights of individuals to maintain control over their personal

We are legally required to follow some specific privacy procedures
in order to be compliant with our contractual obligations to a range
of Government Departments.
Our whole organisation is also obliged to adhere to the sections of
the Privacy Act 1988 that relate to the Private Sector. As we have
not established a separate Privacy Code we have developed our
privacy procedures around the requirements of the National Privacy

also based on the Guidelines to the National Privacy Principles,
which were issued by the Federal Privacy Commissioner in September
2001.
